Canvas for Learning: Reimagining BKP School Through Project Rangshaala

At Sampoorna Shiksha, we believe that a learning environment has the power to inspire, engage, and nurture young minds. Through our flagship school transformation initiative, Rangshaala, we strive to create educational spaces where learning extends beyond textbooks and classrooms.

On 12th June 2026, this vision came alive at Balaji Kanha Patil (BKP) School, Ulwe, through a vibrant school transformation drive conducted in collaboration with ConnectFor under their Artshaala – Paint a School initiative and supported by our corporate partner Alumil Systems India.

Turning Walls into Windows of Learning

What began as a blank canvas soon transformed into a colourful and engaging learning space. Together, volunteers painted seven classrooms and several exterior walls, bringing to life themes centred around Science, Mathematics, Innovation, and Education.

Designed using the principles of Building as Learning Aid (BALA), the artwork goes beyond beautification. Every wall has been thoughtfully created to stimulate curiosity, reinforce classroom concepts, and encourage children to explore, imagine, and learn in new ways.

The transformed spaces now serve as visual learning tools, making education more interactive, accessible, and enjoyable for students.

50 Volunteers, One Shared Purpose

The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from 50 employee volunteers from Alumil Systems India, who dedicated their time, creativity, and energy to transforming the school environment.

Armed with paintbrushes and a shared commitment to education, volunteers worked side by side to create an inspiring space that students can feel proud of. Their efforts demonstrated how collective action and employee volunteering can create meaningful impact within communities.

Throughout the day, the school campus buzzed with collaboration, creativity, and a sense of purpose, reminding us that positive change is most powerful when it is created together.

Supporting Student Well-being

Beyond contributing to the school transformation, Alumil Systems India also donated a water purifier, helping improve access to safe drinking water for students and school staff.

This thoughtful contribution reinforces the belief that quality education is supported not only by engaging learning spaces but also by ensuring a healthy and nurturing environment for every child.

A Surprise Waiting Beyond the Summer Break

Perhaps the most exciting part of this initiative is that the students have not yet seen the transformation.

As the project was completed during the summer vacation, children returning to school will be greeted by colourful classrooms, inspiring educational murals, and an entirely refreshed learning environment. What awaits them is more than a newly painted school – it is a space designed to spark imagination, encourage learning, and make every school day more joyful.

We can already imagine the smiles, excitement, and sense of wonder as students walk through their transformed campus for the very first time.

Creating Impact Through Partnerships

This initiative is a testament to what can be achieved when organizations come together with a shared commitment to education and community development.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Alumil Systems India for their enthusiastic volunteer participation and generous support, and to ConnectFor for enabling this collaboration through the Artshaala – Paint a School initiative.

Together, we have done more than paint walls – we have created an environment that inspires curiosity, celebrates learning, and empowers children to dream bigger.

Through Rangshaala, Sampoorna Shiksha remains committed to transforming schools into vibrant learning spaces where every corner becomes an opportunity to learn, discover, and grow.
