Summer of Smiles, Skills & Stories: Sampoorna Shiksha’s School Summer Camps in Navi Mumbai

This summer, classrooms transformed into spaces of creativity, confidence, and curiosity as Sampoorna Shiksha organized vibrant offline Summer Camps across three schools in Navi Mumbai — Pt. Motilal Nehru School (Nerul), Sanjeevan High School (Seawoods), and Balaji Kanha Patil School (Ulwe).

Over 5 days, with 3 hours of joyful learning each day, children experienced a perfect blend of fun and learning — proving that education doesn’t have to pause during vacations; it can evolve into something even more exciting. Reaching 300+ students across three schools, the summer camp created a meaningful and engaging learning impact.

Across 5 days and 15+ hours, children experienced joyful, activity-based sessions that built confidence, creativity, and expression.

A Learning Experience Beyond Books

The camps were thoughtfully designed to nurture both skills and imagination. Children explored a wide range of activities, including:

  • Spoken English to build confidence in communication
  • Art & Craft, Drawing & Painting to spark creativity
  • Environmental awareness sessions on topics like World Tiger Day and Noise Pollution
  • Storytelling that encouraged expression and imagination
  • Financial Literacy to introduce smart thinking early on
  • Yoga & Meditation for mindfulness and well-being

Empowering Young Minds: Computer Lab Inauguration under Project Shikshalaya

Empowering Young Minds: Computer Lab Inauguration under Project Shikshalaya

Access to digital learning is no longer a luxury - it is a necessity. Taking a significant step towards bridging this gap, we inaugurated a new Fully Equipped Computer Lab under Project Shikshalaya at ZP School, Boripada Pale, Dahanu creating new opportunities for tribal children from the Macchi community.

This initiative is set to impact 144 students and 4 teachers, along with the wider community, by introducing them to the world of technology and digital education.

The newly established Computer Lab, along with a Digital Smartboard equipped with State Board content and a Kitab Khilona learning space, aims to transform the learning experience from traditional to interactive and engaging. For many students, this marks their very first interaction with computers - opening doors to curiosity, creativity, and future-ready skills.

The inauguration was filled with excitement as students explored the new setup with enthusiasm and wonder. What may seem like a simple addition is, in reality, a powerful step towards reducing the digital divide and ensuring that children in underserved communities are not left behind.

Teachers are now better equipped to deliver dynamic lessons, making classrooms more participative and effective. The integration of digital tools will not only enhance understanding but also encourage students to learn beyond textbooks.

This initiative has been made possible with the support of our CSR Partner - Skechers , whose commitment to education is helping create meaningful and lasting impact at the grassroots level.

At Sampoorna Shiksha, we believe that when children are given access to the right tools, they don’t just learn better - they dream bigger. Because this is not just a computer lab -
it is a gateway to opportunities, confidence, and a brighter future.

From Walls to Web: Redefining Learning Spaces

From Walls to Web: Redefining Learning Spaces

At Sampoorna Shiksha, we believe that meaningful learning goes beyond textbooks and classrooms - it lives in experiences, environments, and human connections. Our recent collaboration with our CSR partner, Sarla Advantech Pvt. Ltd., beautifully reflected this belief through two impactful initiatives under Project ShikshaLaya – Tech Pathshala.

Transforming Walls into Learning Tools – BKP High School, Ulwe

At Balaji Kanha Patil High School in Ulwe, our journey began with a creative transformation. Team members from Sarla Advantech came together with students to co-create vibrant BALA (Building as Learning Aid) walls. These were not just paintings, but thoughtfully designed learning aids- turning school infrastructure into interactive educational tools.

The energy throughout the day was contagious. Beyond painting, volunteers engaged students in fun and meaningful activities that sparked curiosity, creativity, and connection. The school space evolved into a lively learning environment where every wall began to tell a story.

A special thanks to our volunteer artist, Shalaka Mane, whose guidance and creativity played a key role in bringing this vision to life.

Building Digital Futures -  Zilla Parishad Primary School, Kadhade, Pune

Under Project ShikshaLaya – Tech Pathshala, we successfully set up and inaugurated a fully equipped computer lab at Zilla Parishad Primary School, Kadhade, Pune. The lab includes 5 computers, creating a crucial gateway for students to step into the digital world.

This initiative was brought to life with the support of 20 enthusiastic volunteers from the Pune team, who joined us for the inauguration. The day wasn’t just about infrastructure - it was about engagement and empowerment.

Together with CSR volunteers, we conducted a Digital Literacy Session, introducing students to the basics of technology in a simple and interactive way. A total of 102 students from Grade 1 to 7 directly benefited from this initiative taking their first steps toward digital learning and future readiness.

More Than Just Activities - Creating Lasting Impact

These initiatives were not just events - they were experiences that:

  • Made learning more interactive and joyful
  • Brought creativity into education spaces
  • Opened doors to digital inclusion
  • Strengthened the bond between students and the community

We are deeply grateful to the Sarla Advantech Pvt Ltd team for their commitment, enthusiasm, and willingness to go beyond conventional CSR to create real impact on the ground.

Together, we didn’t just paint walls or install computers - we created spaces where learning feels alive, inclusive, and inspiring.

Five Winters, One Commitment to Learning- Ensuring Learning Continues Through Winter

Five Winters, One Commitment to Learning- Ensuring Learning Continues Through Winter

When winter arrives in Jammu, it brings breathtaking beauty—and severe disruption. Intense cold waves often force schools to shut down or function irregularly, leaving children without access to consistent learning for weeks at a time. These prolonged breaks don’t just interrupt academic progress; they weaken routines, confidence, and continuity.

At Sampoorna Shiksha, we believe that education cannot be dependent on seasons. For the past five years, in collaboration with Borderless World Foundation (BWF), we have been working to ensure that children continue learning even during the harshest winter months. The Online Winter Education Camp was created to provide structure, engagement, and academic support at a time when physical classrooms are simply not accessible.

Impact at a Glance

  • Learning Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 4 hours daily
  • Students Reached: 160+ children (Grades 1–12)
  • Volunteer Educators: 20+
  • Program Length: 3 continuous months
  • Key Learning Areas Included: Core Academic Subjects, Spoken English & Public Speaking, Creative Writing & Communication, Financial Literacy, Personality Development & Emotional Intelligence, Life Skills & Value Education, Art & Craft, Student Leadership Bootcamp, E-Governance & Civic Awareness, India Through Stories

Powered by Dedicated Volunteers

Running a six-day-a-week program for three consecutive months required deep commitment. More than 20 volunteer educators came together to plan lessons, facilitate sessions, conduct assessments, and support students through doubt-solving and mentorship.

Their consistency ensured that students stayed connected—not just to subjects, but to people who believed in their potential and showed up for them every day.

Voices from the Closing Ceremony

The program concluded with a heartfelt Closing Ceremony on 27th February 2026, celebrating the resilience and progress of both students and educators.

Where Voices Rise and Leaders Emerge: Public Speaking Program at Iteach School, Nerul

Where Voices Rise and Leaders Emerge: Public Speaking Program at Iteach School, Nerul

A quiet classroom. Twenty thoughtful faces. A moment of hesitation - followed by the spark of a rising voice. This is the beginning of a transformation.

At iTeach NMMC’92 English Medium School, Nerul, Sampoorna Shiksha has launched a powerful new journey: the 15-Session Public Speaking & Oratory Program, starting 5th December 2025, conducted every Friday from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Designed for 20 students from Grades 9 and 10, the program promises not just skill-building, but confidence, courage, and character.

Guided by our dynamic facilitator, Ms Swikriti Pati, each session is crafted to help learners break barriers, find their voice, and speak with conviction.

The Journey Ahead: Fifteen Fridays of Transformation

The 15-session journey is a carefully crafted arc of growth. Students will progress from building foundational speaking skills to mastering higher-order communication techniques. They will explore storytelling, persuasive speaking, rhetorical devices, debate strategies, academic speaking, and impromptu speech-building.

In the final stages, they will craft a powerful speech - an opportunity to showcase who they have become.

  • A speaker who stands tall.
  • A thinker who speaks clearly.
  • A young leader ready to inspire.

This journey will not only make them confident on stage, but also confident in life.

Why This Program Matters: Voices That Shape Futures

Communication is no longer an optional skill - it is a life skill, a leadership skill, a future skill.
This program empowers students to:

  • Break free from stage fear
  • Speak with clarity, expression, and structure
  • Command presence through body language
  • Deliver ideas with confidence and respect
  • Think critically and respond thoughtfully

Each session reinforces one core truth: when students learn to use their voice, they learn to shape their future.

A Classroom Alive With Expression, Energy & Growth

Once a week, the classroom transforms into a vibrant speaking arena filled with energy, laughter, and bold attempts. Students dive into:

  • Voice drills that strengthen tone, pace, and expression
  • Storytelling journeys that spark imagination
  • Impromptu challenges that sharpen thinking
  • Debates & opinion circles that enhance reasoning
  • Short speeches that build confidence step-by-step
  • Peer feedback exercises that encourage growth
  • Confidence exercises that help them stand tall

Every session pushes them one step further - from hesitation to expression, from expression to confidence, and from confidence to leadership.

The Heart of the Program: Our Facilitator

Behind every confident student is a patient guide. Ms. Swikriti Pati brings warmth, enthusiasm, and a deeply supportive approach to every session. She ensures that every child feels:

  • Heard without judgment
  • Encouraged to try
  • Safe to make mistakes
  • Confident to rise again

Her presence turns each session into a space of trust - where students are not afraid to speak, stumble, or shine.

Looking Forward: Voices That Will Lead Tomorrow

As the program unfolds week by week, we expect to see students evolve into:

  • Confident public speakers
  • Clear communicators
  • Thoughtful thinkers
  • Respectful listeners
  • Young leaders with powerful voices

At Sampoorna Shiksha, we believe that leadership begins with the courage to speak—and when children discover that courage, they don't just grow, they influence, they inspire, and they illuminate the world around them.

The Public Speaking & Oratory Program is more than a set of sessions - it is the beginning of a lifelong journey of expression, confidence, and impact.
