Learning beyond books: Our journey at the little champs Carnival Stall!

On the 8th and 9th of February, Sampoorna Shiksha proudly set up a stall at the Little Champs Carnival held at Sacred Heart Ground, Vashi. This initiative wasn’t just about participation—it was about visibility, engagement, and spreading awareness among the people of Navi Mumbai about our mission in education and community development.

Unlike other stalls focused on products, ours aimed to inform, inspire, and involve. We showcased our three core initiatives: E-Shiksha (digital education), Shiksha Vikas (volunteer-driven learning), and Spoken English & Teacher Training. Visitors were encouraged to connect through donations, volunteering, or linking us with communities in need. The response was overwhelming and deeply encouraging.

A major highlight was “Kahaniyon Ki Duniya”, a storytelling session conducted by our volunteer, Bharti. Her engaging narration captivated young children each day, adding a unique, emotional dimension.

Through Our Shikshalaya Project, Sampoorna Shiksha collaborated with Srijan ek Soch , an NGO in education and  established 5 digital classrooms and 3 content centers in Rath, Bundelkhand, and Shahjahanpur. These E-shiksha kit will enable the underprivileged government schools and community centers, providing students access to essential digital learning tools.

Our  visit to Rath has been an  enriching collaboration with the Srijan Ek Soch team, where we spent two days connecting with students, school staff, local leaders, including the village sarpanch, and other community authorities.

We inaugurated the digital classrooms and witnessed first hand the incredible on-ground impact that Srijan is making. The E-Shiksha Kit, introduced as part of this initiative, simplifies learning, helping students grasp concepts more easily and pursue brighter futures.

We are confident that together, we can transform this underdeveloped region into a center of literacy and learning.

Project Stem-pitara in Drass in Laddakh

Project Stem-Pitara a project under Shiksha Vikas, wherein we empower students to explore-experiment-engage themselves through various STEM kits.

This 5 week course with arithmetic kit enables the students of high school to connect the building parts to formal maths education.

The first of its kind has been introduced by Sampoorna Shiksha , Prof Vinayak Krishnamoorthy an associate professor of Mechanical Engineering at Texas,  has been engaging the students of Government Higher Secondary School in Bhimbhet Drass district Ladakh.

His session of “Nirman,Prashna,Prayog” kindled the students inquisitiveness about the subject to understand the concepts of geometry using  the Arithmetic kit. The simple and methodical teaching by exploring themselves made the sessions fun and  exciting. Sampoorna Shiksha intends to take this project on a nationwide scale in different schools

Toy Library Set Up by Sampoorna Shiksha at Sundarban

On July 20th, Sampoorna Shiksha established a Toy Library in Sundarban, covering schools in Guni, Chotosahabkhali, Ganesh Mondal, and the main school. This initiative aimed to provide students with access to a variety of educational and recreational toys that support cognitive and creative development.

The Toy Library offers a range of toys and games that encourage learning through play, helping students develop problem-solving skills, imagination, and social interactions. By engaging with these resources, children not only have fun but also gain valuable skills that enhance their overall growth and development. This initiative by Sampoorna Shiksha serves as a valuable addition to the learning environment in Sundarban's schools, fostering a love for learning among the students.

Motilal School Inauguration Ceremony

Pt. Motilal School in Nerul, Navi Mumbai, recently hosted an inauguration ceremony on 5th October 2024, graced by Chief Guest Lata Venkatesh, Consultant Editor at CNBC TV18.

The event featured a warm welcome with a "Su Swagatam" song by students. Sampoorna Shiksha set up a computer library, and gratitude was shared by the principal and student representative -tenth-grader Kirti Durgesh Pandey.

Lata Venkatesh praised Sampoorna Shiksha’s efforts, emphasizing the crucial role of computer literacy in today’s world. She warned that lacking such knowledge could leave students behind among their peers.

This Computer Library, featuring five computers, will provide essential training on basic computer skills, empowering over 300 students and 15+ teachers and staff to become tech literate and equip them with the necessary skills for a digital future.
